Lovies is a beloved smoked comfort food restaurant in Atlanta, known for its authentic techniques and welcoming Southern charm. Since 2015, it had built a loyal following—but needed a brand identity that matched the quality of its cuisine and its ambitions for growth. I led a full visual refresh that blended Lovies’ down-home authenticity with a clean, modern aesthetic, helping the brand evolve without losing its roots.
The updated identity captured the warmth of the dining experience while introducing a more versatile and polished system for packaging, signage, and digital presence. The relaunch resonated with both longtime patrons and new audiences, playing a key role in the restaurant’s expansion and contributing to a substantial increase in revenue post-launch.
